Taygor was born and raised in the forests surrounding Aranthaes, and has always had a strong connection to nature. He became a druid at a young age and dedicated his life to protecting the forests surrounding Aranthaes and the wildlife inside and out of the great city from harm. When he was asked to lead the Merchant Volunteers Battalion, he saw it as an opportunity to protect the city and its people from within.
Taygor has a weathered, rugged appearance, with a wild mane of gray hair and a thick beard. He prefers to wear simple, practical clothing made of animal hides, but instead has to wear the ornate emerald and gold clothes of his office. He carries a staff made from a gnarled oak tree he played in as a child to remind him of the forest he loves so much.
Taygor is a wise and patient leader, with a deep respect for the natural world. He is fiercely protective of the people and creatures he cares about, and will go to great lengths to ensure their safety. He is also a skilled diplomat, able to negotiate with both humans and animals to achieve his goals.
